KR _ Universe by Katarina Rimarcikova : the label reflects design statement aesthetics inspired by all the senses of its creator; psychological theories, human nature and behaviour, philosophy, personal journeys, literature, history, art, dance & performance... It’s an intriguing mix of pleasure and pain... constant analysis of the unknown.

With great respect to the beauty of the female body, Katarina's manipulation of form in her own unique way, allows her to present new silhouettes. The work incorporates contrasts of tailoring and volume to achieve desired new lines and silhouettes that include intriguingly cut signature coats & jackets. Together with in-depth research and translation of conceptual 2D themes into 3D movement, the collections offer unique mix of timeless, intriguing wearable pieces beyond trends and seasons.

 
 

Katarina set up her eponymous label back in 2006 in Paris after she graduated from Central St.Martins, trained at Saville Row and worked at fashion brands such Alexander McQueen and Gucci with Tom Ford. A high-end pret-a-porter womenswear collections mixed with menswear pieces merging into haute couture at times. 

The label has been evolving, reacting to the times and instincts of the designer; she has adapted to direct to consumers and intimate presentations years ago before this has been practice. Carving her own path as a designer and industry professional, thriving on constant learning, Katarina is keeping her label active only for meaningful demands /orders and challenging / exciting projects.
